Oman reexamines visa terms and conditions for India, China and Russia.


Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC) declared the revised terms and conditions issued by the Omani authorities on the grant of non-sponsored tourer visa for the citizens of India, China and Russia who reside in or who hold an entry visa to at least one of the these countries – united states of America, Canada, Australia, UK and Schengen States to enter the land of Oman.

The issued statement indicated that the visa might be conceded for an amount of one month for a fee of OMR 20. an extracurricular from OAMC added that the partner and kids of the visa holder would even be allowed to enter the Sultanate while accompanying them. candidates should also have a return ticket and confirmed hotel reservation so as to be granted the visa.

Speaking regarding the recent development, Salim Adi Al Mamari, Director General of Tourism Promotion, Ministry of  Tourism, Government of Oman said, “We are exceptionally cheerful with the recent development of facilitating non-sponsored tourer visa for the nationals of India, China and Russia. With the modification of visa laws, we are expecting that Indian entries over all portions will develop exponentially - particularly leisure and visitors to conventions and exhibitions. Oman has gained tremendous popularity with mature and evolved travellers in the current years.we intend to grow our  travel and tourism offerings and are sure that the revised policies will offer favourable position and comfort to voyagers and can empower a considerable measure of extemporaneous visits to the land.”


Lubaina Sheerazi, India Representative, Ministry of Tourism, Government of Oman, said, “The outgoing phase in India is on an increase with the Indian economy booming and progressively higher standards of living.  Most Indians normally go for three to five evenings as they need to encounter Muscat and on the far side. we are sure that the current change in strategies is favourable for the Indian travellers and Sultanate will see a positive development in this up and coming  festive and holiday season.”
